Christmas Bird Counts

We have participated in the Eugene Christmas Home Count, organized by the Coast to Cascades Bird Alliance, every year since 2007.  We spend 4-5 hours on the day selected for the count (usually within a day of two before or after New Year’s Day) counting the birds we see or hear on or flying over the property.
